Spanish Oaks Campground is a small campground located above Spanish Oak Reservoir, near Spanish Fork, Utah. The campsites are on the small side and a designed to be tent only, although I’m sure camping here with a small van would be fine (trailers are not allowed).

The campground feels surprisingly nestled in the mountains for as close to the city as it is. There are quite a few hiking and mountain biking trails that can be accessed from the campground, but of course the main attraction here is Spanish Oaks Reservoir. This small body of water offers fishing and swimming, as well as a nice sandy beach area to recreate or relax.

Like mentioned above, the campground is tent only. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring and tent pad in addition to the paved parking pad.

The campground is open April 1 through October 15. There is a 7 day camping limit.

Reservations should be made at least 7 days in advance, but you are also welcome to stop in and see if there are any walk up sites available.

Restrooms are available, as well as a large covered picnic shelter area and playground for kids.
