Doi Inthanon Campground is a large campground located near the center of the Doi Inthanon National Park, in the village of Ban Luang, that caters to all types of campers with tent sites, RV sites, and private and group rental accommodations. The campground is also able to provide gear for rent, including tents, sleeping bags, pads and pillows.

The campground is very tourist-friendly, with signs in Thai and English pointing out where everything is. It is located across the street from a village and a short walk from small food stores and restaurants that cater to park visitors.

Upon entering the campground, there is an entrance station where a worker will provide a list of options and prices. From here, there are separate areas for each type of camping, with modern bathroom facilities serving each.

Tent sites are set on a terraced landscape with trees all around. Campers arriving in vehicles park at an adjacent lot, and select the space they would like to pitch their tent at. Though there are no barriers between campers, the large area allows campers to set up a fair distance away from neighbors in all but the most crowded times. Campers are also able to select any gear they would like to rent at the entrance station. Campsites rent for around 50 Baht per night per person.

There are several RV pads, marked as Caravaning sites, which each have electric hookups and picnic tables.

Up a winding road are the private and group accommodation rentals. These range in price from 1000 Baht per night for one bedroom buildings to up to 6500 Baht per night for large group buildings.

While it is possible to rent online through the Thai National Parks website, the English language formatting of the website tends to be clunky. Outside of peak weekends, it may be easier to make all arrangements when arriving onsite.

Rental gear prices as of Fall 2019: 3 person tent - 225 Baht, Sleeping bag - 30 Baht, Sleeping pad - 20 Baht, Pillow - 10 Baht.
