While some people prefer a short jog or walk in the park, there’s no denying that endurance sports, especially endurance adventures, are some of the most addictive activities out there. Whether you crave the solitude of getting way out there, the slow and steady burn in your muscles, or, most likely, a combination of these two, there’s no better time than the present to get into long-distance endurance activities.

The great thing about these long distance efforts is that they allow you to nourish the body while clearing your head. There’s nothing quite as restorative as getting to meditate while being active. Even long road trips that leave you sitting in place for hours will leave you alone with your thoughts and let you really think over something that has been on your mind.
