North Eagle Lake Campground lies just off the Northern shores of Eagle Lake near Susanville, California. Eagle Lake lies at an elevation of 5,100’ and is actually the second largest natural freshwater lake wholly in California. Water levels fluctuate throughout the year, but the lake is a great place for water sports, fishing or swimming. Although North Eagle Lake Campground isn’t directly on the water, it is an affordable place to set up your Eagle Lake base camp.
There are 20 campsites at North Eagle Lake Campground. At each site you’ll find a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets and potable water are also located within the campground.
North Eagle Lake Campground is open seasonally, usually mid May through Early November (depending on weather). All campsites are first come, first served with no reservations possible.
The current price is $8 per night.
