If you find yourself coming up and over Tincup Pass or are just looking for a nice mountain escape, Mirror Lake Campground offers a spectacular jump off point. With 10 campsites situated along Mirror lake, this campground is close to fishing, off-roading trails, the Garden Basin Trailhead, and Taylor Park Reservoir areas.

The campground is a fee area, but it includes trash bins and pit toilets. Half of the sites are located along the forest, while the other half are situated closer to the lake and offer scenic views of the 13,000-foot Sawatch Range. RVs can access the campground via the west side of the summit, but they should not attempt crossing up and over Tin Cup Pass to the east. Tin Cup Pass from the east is a mildly rated jeep trail that starts in the old ghost town of St. Elmo.

Reservations are no longer available at Mirror Lake Campground. The campsites are now only available on a first-come, first-served basis. Note that while potable water is not provided, Willow Creek can supply water if you bring a filter. Mirror Lake Campground is open seasonally, and exact opening and closing dates may fluctuate with conditions; call 970.874.6600 for details.
