Tucked into farm fields and horse country, Price's Scrub offers 9.5 miles of trails for hikers and equestrians alike. With a scattered canopy of pines, a thick understory of saw palmetto, fetterbush, gallberries, broom sedge, salt bush, and more, fall and spring are the most colorful periods to explore. Birds sing from the treetops as well as within the scrub, and visitors should listen for the lonely hoots of a barred owl as the sun descends (the park is open from 8 a.m. through sunset). Almost 70 avian species have been recorded here. When walking, search the trail for deer, hog, and raccoon footprints.

While the paths in the southern end of the approximately 1,000-acre property are more sandy, those in the north offer more shade and undulating topography.

In addition to the park's trails, Price's Scrub offers a grassy parking area, portable toilets, picnic tables, and a watering trough for visiting horses. Cyclists are permitted, but they may have difficulty in the sandy spots.
