This campground in the sky is located across the road from Point Supreme in Cedar Breaks National Monument, a great place to sleep under the stars. The flowers here are wildly out of control, and the views of the surrounding meadows and patchy forests are very serene.

There are 25 sites total, and they can handle cars and RVs. Ten sites are reservable, while the other 15 are first-come, first-served, and two are tent only. You are right in the action here, close to the best viewpoint and hike in the park. You are allowed to have up to eight people and two tents on each site, and you can bring your dogs if they remain on leash. There are also large picnic-only areas near the entrance. You can't see any of the iconic spires or hoodoos from the site, but they are just a short walk away on a paved path.

The campgrounds are only open from early June to early September due to its high elevation and frequent winter storms. At 10,300 feet in elevation, this is no doubt one of the highest places in Utah you can pitch a tent near facilities. Enjoy ranger-led programs on Fridays and Sundays at 7:00 p.m. from late May to Labor Day. There is a campground bulletin board with the evening program locations and subjects. On Saturdays through Labor Day weekend, Star Parties are held at the Point Supreme Overlook starting at 8:30 p.m. in July and 8:00 p.m. in August. There is an amphitheater, and ranger-led talks are held at Point Supreme.
