Ponderosa Park is a nice community space located off Southwest 15th Street in south central Bend.

The 19 acre park features typical park amenities, as well as some special ones.

The Coyner Trail runs through the park and can be walked all the way to nearby Juniper Park. Ponderosa Pines offer shade and a natural feel to the area.

Two skateparks are found at Ponderosa Park and can be quite popular. You’ll also find a pickleball court, basketball court, and sports fields that are used for baseball, softball, soccer, football and lacrosse.

The park also has a large open grassy area, a playground, picnic tables and a picnic shelter, restrooms, and an off leash dog park.
